Corrections and changes

Mistakes happen, and a site that publishes more than a thousand readings makes them. This is the public record of what we found and fixed. If you spot something, tell us.

7 October 2026: invented personal stories removed

Many articles opened or closed with first person stories (a grandmother, a colleague, readers writing in, the author's own recurring dream). These were narrative devices, not real experiences, and they should not have been presented as if they were. We rewrote the openings and removed the callbacks in roughly nine hundred articles. Opinions about research and tradition were kept; claims about anyone's life were removed.

Some articles linked to unrelated pages with a formula in place of a reason (for example, “the related piece on…”). Links now state the actual connection or were removed.

7 October 2026: unverifiable attributions removed

Where an article credited a specific reading to an ancient or religious authority that we could not confirm, the attribution was removed or turned into a general statement. The 2003 typical-dreams survey remains the only source of statistics on the site.

7 October 2026: privacy policy and contact page corrected

The previous policy and contact page said the dream interpreter sent your text to a third party AI service. That was wrong: the interpreter has run entirely in your browser since June 2026 and sends nothing anywhere. Both pages were rewritten.

7 October 2026: typography and descriptions

Stray commas and doubled quotation marks left by an automated edit were removed from more than four hundred articles, and about four hundred and fifty truncated or formulaic search descriptions were rebuilt from each article's own short answer.

7 October 2026: counts and images

The biblical section's count was corrected (it said “over 330” and has 422 readings). Biblical, number and guide pages that all shared one stock image now have their own illustration.
